**UPDATE** I finally got my comments numbered! Woo hoo.!
So, I’ve recently switched to this new layout (which I love). Unfortunately in the process, I lost the ability to number my comments. I’m looking for your expertise. I had edited the code in my previous layout to allow for numbered comments, but for some reason those hacks aren’t working for this design. Is there anyone out there who can help me??
I would totally appreciate any tips you can offer!

Yes, I've tried those. They worked wonderfully on my original layout, but I don't have the "" code, so I'm not totally sure where to post the new code.
