I just wanted to say thank you to all the men and women who have offered their lives in service of our country. There are a lot of military families that live in my area, and I am always so impressed by their strength and sacrifice. We have to be reminded that for every service man and woman there is a family that remains behind. Their perseverance in the face of difficulty is an inspiration to me.
On this Memorial Day, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for your service. Families, thank you for your sacrifice. Thank you to the men and women who gave up their lives to make freedom possible.
